Many of us are focusing on stabilizing ourselves into a new, higher frequency of consciousness, and of life itself. Instead of succumbing to negativity and victimhood, we’re saying NO, unplugging from low-vibration thoughts and feelings, and instead, CHOOSING to feel the way we like to feel, in spite of what the so-called “outside world” (which isn’t really out there, it’s part of us) is doing. No one and nothing can make us feel bad unless we agree to it. We’re seeing that it’s excitement and enthusiasm, not anxiety, that we truly want. We’re feeling that we want to be more, and do more, of what comes from our most-real self.

So the more we stabilize and saturate our bodies, emotions, and minds with the new higher frequency of the soul-based reality, the more consciousness we have of subtle things, and the more energy we have—and it’s not that jagged, jittery kind of energy, it’s smooth, cheerful, and enthusiastic. It is out of that renewed energy that our new imagination comes. Before we settle into the higher frequency, we can’t “figure out” what we want. Our imagination is coming from the old low vibration, and old pictures of the way it used to be. As soon as your frequency shifts, you can see more of what’s possible, and you get excited about it. Now you can reinvent yourself by dreaming up a fun, new life.

As long as you keep tracing the old habit paths, it remains difficult to shift to the new experience of the energy-based world. Our new reality is not motivated by having security and “stuff,” but on feeling different—on being in your home frequency state—more and more of the time. The appropriate forms now emerge from that feeling.

The new world is instantaneous, and so smooth, that when we dip back into the “old” reality, it can seem downright antiquated and stupid! If you’ve been working on yourself, or mediating regularly, you may feel impatient or disgruntled—even pissed off at the way society spends time on hollow pursuits. When this happens, remember to recenter into your home frequency—every single time. Be in it, in spite of people’s unconsciousness. You being conscious is the only thing that counts in your reality. Remember that at one level unconscious people ARE aware. I believe everyone wants to be conscious, in spite of fears that being conscious will kill the ego, which so many erroneously identify as their self. The important thing is to collapse the illusion of separation between your inner/individual and outer/collective self. There’s nothing outside of you that’s bigger or more powerful than you, nothing that can deprive you of the experience you want to have. Unconscious people don’t have the power to make you unconscious.

We need so badly to shift from worrying that what’s happening is going to ruin us, into a deep relaxation that comes from having some techniques to navigate the rough waters and get to the beautiful calm lake. It’s all too easy to picture a negative future, especially since we’re in the part of the transformation process where we’re tired of resisting the profound changes, and are giving up the fight, surrendering to just being with things as they are (without getting hopeless). We’re realizing that the old institutions and security-providing ways of thinking aren’t working. In fact, they’re crumbling to dust, and hanging onto them is becoming almost laughable.

But it means we’re surrounded by a sea of consciousness that’s steeped in ideas of “failure,” “uselessness,” and “obsolescence.” And that means it’s challenging to see through that drama—that’s always been so seductive—to not feed it with our attention, to not fight the old reality, but to simply collapse the reality we don’t want into the heartfield of the present moment, to let ourselves saturate with that “home frequency” presence, then recreate the world to the best of our imaginations.

I was listening to Bruce Coburn, to “The Last Night of the World,” and he sings: I learned as a child not to trust in my body; I’ve carried that burden through my life; but there’s a day when we all have to be pried loose.” This is that time. And it’s so exciting! The new world, the new reality, the new energy-based life we are entering is going to be so amazing and joy-based. I’ve always enjoyed Karen Bishop’s writings. She says, “. . .it can feel very uncomfortable being in the lower vibrating energies of the old world. The old world is now very much an illusion, and thus, many still residing there can appear zombielike, going through motions without passion or caring, like puppets or manikins living in energies that no longer exist.”
