Intuition Tip #7
Your clarity of mind, attitude, motivation, and productivity will increase simply by learning to prefer and choose whole-body and whole-brain perception. "Being in your head" too much — specifically in your left brain — is exhausting and contributes to inhumane solutions, mediocrity, intolerance, negativity, frustration, and emotional acting out. Establish a habit of opening and expanding your awareness as often as possible.

2. Before a meeting and periodically throughout the meeting.

EXERCISE
Before a meeting or conference, center yourself and drop into your body in the here-and-now. Connect with the deepest intention for the gathering, with the other people at a soul level, and feel how you'd like everyone to feel by the end of the session. Let go and begin. Check in periodically as the process unfolds to clear unseen obstacles that arise.

Identity Theft
A WAKING DREAM INTERPRETED
A woman I know just experienced a few events in her ordinary waking reality that seem amazingly dreamlike. At work she's been forced to take a stand for herself and be more visible. She just bought her first home. And last week, she left some important papers containing financial information in her car, and someone broke in and stole them. As with so many others now, she is "sorting through her vibrations," deciding how she wants her life to be, letting old patterns fall away. She is shifting her identity, and the threat of identity theft is making her pay attention to this. She bought a home and made space for her new self to emerge. Being forced to take a stand at work shows her what it feels like to embody herself more fully.

The underlying themes are: Who am I? Who do I want to be that's different than who I was? What do I want in my life that's different from what I'm used to having? What parts of my old identity am I willing to slough off? What's new?

Quotes about Heart
To know how to choose a path with heart is to learn how to follow intuitive feeling. Logic can tell you superficially where a path might lead to, but it cannot judge whether your heart will be in it.
Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D.

Worry affects the circulation, the heart, the glands, the whole nervous system, and profoundly affects heart action.
Dr. Charles H. Mayo, M.D.

WHAT'S REAL UNDERNEATH?
Because we're becoming so ultrasensitive right now, you may be feeling a heightened degree of empathy for other people's pain, confusion, and various emotional states. I am noticing, though, that there is a kind of energetic ethics involved in using one's sensitivity when others are concerned — ways of being aware that make enlightened perception easier for others. My question is: How do we know, when someone else hurts, what it is exactly like inside them? Does feeling their pain help? Or is it, in a weird way, a sort of arrogance? I have felt how even the slightest level of second-guessing a person's thoughts — when I'm not entirely in the moment with them in the direct experience of the emergence of their expression — is a kind of dominance on my part. I "think" I know what's coming and I cut them off, even if it's just a tiny tiny bit, and even if it's telepathic. I can feel how it's unfair to them and shortchanges their magnificence.

Similarly, if I hold the idea that someone else is feeling pain, and I don't want them to, and I'm hurting too because I'm HOLDING that imagined pain, and feeling bad because I'm feeling it, then I hold it in them as well as in me, and what good does that do anyone? Now they have to worry about me feeling a version of their pain that may not actually be what they're feeling. Now they have to get themselves out of it, and me too. How much better to notice what's going on, then drop the contracted feeling state, breathe, choose an expanded state where you see the soul for what it is, reaffirm the innate power and clarity of the person, and attune back to your own highest frequency, and hold THAT, so they can more easily shift out of their contraction into their own highest frequency, when they're ready.

Empathy, the kind of sensitivity where you feel another's pain or contractedness is only good as far as I'm concerned, for teaching us about how to achieve conscious rapport. This assists us spiritually in beginning to know that we are One. Once we can feel communion, then we must raise the level up to the soul and vibrate at that tone, not the pain tone, otherwise we perpetuate suffering. In effect, we double the amount of pain in the world. It's fine to feel into people, but we need to recenter in our own core vibration after each foray into this sort of empathic information gathering.
